The mobs really do come out when a woman sticks her slender neck out to run for office. We've seen it with Sarah, we see it with Michele and we will see it with the next woman who comes along. And you cannot shame any of this mob. They will come back at you with a second mob and scream at you to go take a Midol or degrade your intellect.

They are vicious. Anonymity seems to breed viciousness.

Bachmann was doing nicely until she had her feelings hurt at Iowa State Fair and started pouting like a 12 YO and follow it up with an encore at Waterloo.

Most conservatives, including this writer, would love to have a strong woman to support, but they can not have an easier “Basic Training”, because the job is just too damn important.

Palin’s playing COY is what’s hurting her, and COY is another trait not well suited for POTUS.

You are neglecting to mention the "next woman". Hillary was the one who had the worst abuse by men and by her political party. She was more experienced and qualified (for her party) than perhaps Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin in many ways, yet she was trashed, humiliated, and left for gone by her party at that time. THAT was a real disgrace because Hillary had what it took to rise up in and survive national politics. To ignore that major slight of hand while focusing on the analysis and circumspection here seems to be either missing the obvious or staging the unobvious.
