Just announced on TV: Congress has voted to stop NLRB in Boeing-like cases.
Body blow to Obama!
The House passed it. Reid has already said he will not allow it to come to a vote in the Senate. It’s going nowhere.
Well, “Congress” hasn’t voted. Only the House. Harry Reid will decide what to do with it in the Senate.
I understand that it will not pass the (mostly Democrat) Senate. And Obama would veto it anyway, I suppose.
Sorry about this double-post.
The House should pass the NLRB budget as a completely separate item from any other budget matters and attach an amendment preventing the NLRB from preventing Boeing or any other company from moving whereever the company wants. If the Senate doesn’t want to pass the NLRB budget, fine, the NLRB can just shut down completely.
As the Senate Democrats continue to block reasonable and workable solutions to our nation’s economic crisis and unemployment, Republicans remain dedicated to solving Obama’s problems before he wrecks even more havoc.
He's too busy working on his budget.
Democrats care more about unions than employment. Don’t they realize that only 15% of Americans belong to a union? Next November can’t get here fast enough!
