Politics Its Time for Michele Bachmann To Go Posted on September 14, 2011 at 3:16pm by Will Cain Print »Email » Comments (23)No more. Conservatives should be done with Michele Bachmann.
Over the past year Bachmann has snake-charmed many conservatives into thinking that she and only she is dedicated to conservative principles. But almost every time she speaks, she shows ignorance and infidelity to concepts such as free market capitalism (promises of two dollar gas), constitutional federalism (proclaiming state mandates unconstitutional), governance (never ever raise the debt ceiling), medicine (Gardasil causes retardation), and leadership (staff turnover).
Let me explain.
(I realize that Bachmann is a popular guest on the Glenn Beck Show. But this is the evidence as I see it. And I welcome your disagreement and comments after the jump.)
NEVER RAISE THE DEBT CEILING (July 2011)
Never, ever, ever raise the debt ceiling. That was Bachmanns position throughout the debt ceiling debate this summer. Her position wasnt: lets get a good deal. It wasnt: lets cut as much as possible. It was never, ever, ever raise the debt ceiling. (At one point she told Bill OReilly she would vote to raise the ceiling if it included defunding Obamacare. Which was impossible. Which means: never, ever, ever raise the debt ceiling.)

... and make room for the REAL DEAL from Wasilla!
Huntsman, Bachmann, Paul and Santorum - please exit the race. Thank you.
Michele is still on the top of my list.
Bwhahaha!
I liked Bachmann. Still do, but not as a Presidential candidate. That’s a great description of her candidacy.
She can serve the country better as a Congressional spokesperson for the Tea Party movement.
Right, let’s keep the RINO globalists in the race, and get rid of anybody who doesn’t believe that the American economy should be looted into oblivion to pay for globalization and and to cement power and money flows into transnational corporations.
No more individual rights, no more US Constitution, no more American. Go RINO, republicans! Yeah!
Her campaign staff has imploded IIRC.
I agree....she blew it.
Those plus, Mitt, Newt and possibly the “Coke Cola” cowboy. The debates will be more interesting when Sarah joins the game
Conservative at the present time do not elect Presidents.....independents do!!!! Sorry just the simple truth. And she doesn’t even get all the conservative vote.
Michele, Santorum or Cain - either of them are my choice. They’re trying to narrow the field to the twins - Romney and Perry and they’re succeeding.
“she shows ignorance and infidelity to concepts such as free market capitalism (promises of two dollar gas), constitutional federalism (proclaiming state mandates unconstitutional), governance (never ever raise the debt ceiling), medicine (Gardasil causes retardation), and leadership (staff turnover). “
I really don’t have a problem with all these things except the gardasil=mental retardation crap and a bunch of other dumb things she said that weren’t listed.
$2 gas is a goal (like ‘my plan will create 4 million new jobs’), not price fixing.
Debt ceiling-you don’t want to show a weakness before getting serious spending cuts. GOP was tough in the 90’s and that’s how we got Clinton to balance the budget.
But it looks like many are determined to saddle us with the same ol' variety of me-too, half a loaf establishment republican candidates we've gotten used to settling for.
I think it is time for Will Cain to go.
He doesn’t have to, but since he wants to insert himself into it.
