As a regular customer of Olive Garden, they can mark me off their list...what in the world are they thinking? Idiots, all. I have to wonder if the “new” liberal customers will outnumber those of us who are tired of Mrs. Dear Leader dictating what us “peons” are supposed to do and eat. Bye, bye Darden Restaurants!

Well, I *do* think that any processed or prepared food has waaaaaay too much salt (and/or MSG) in it. 'Tis one of the reasons why I don't eat out at places like Longhorn or Red Lobster....all I taste is the salt.
If they're CHOOSING to put less salt in their recipes, that's great, IMHO. Ditto the "children's menus" changes(good luck with getting kids to pick veggies over fries, though....) Let the market decide whether or not it's a good idea.
But this smells like a Moochelle shakedown, and a company trying to put the most positive spin possible on it. "A 20 percent reduction over 10 years"? Come on, that's not a company making a decision, that's a politician.

Her ass doesn't weigh more than the Saints defensive line, it weighs more than the whole team. I'm not saying that she's fat, but when she hauls ass, it takes three trips.

This on, for me, is on a parallel with “green energy”. Olive Garden serves PASTA ... it is nothing but carbohydrates. So how about a low carbohydrate pasta ... that’s worth investing in! There is no such thing, never will be.

Someone should tell moochelle to jump off a tall building. We like Red Lobster and the wife and daughter like Olive Garden. Personally, I can eat their pasta twice a year. First and last at the same sitting, just like pizza.

Michelle, stand up straight and put your legs together with one foot slightly ahead of the other! You can choose to look like a lady or a linebacker. Right now you are making the wrong choice.

This boycott will be a breeze since we don’t have any of these restaurants near me anyway. I recently tried a LongHorn Steakhouse and Olive Garden while I was in Rochester, NY. I wasn’t impressed with either place, and wouldn’t eat at them again.

Well, we are going to miss Red Lobster. I can’t stand Olive Garden food or pasta in general.

Thanks for the ping, Maggie. She better not ruin the Red Lobster cheddar biscuits! They are perfect as they are, loaded with shortening, cheese and salt, lol.

I have only been to the Olive Garden once. I asked for oil and vinegar, and the waitress said that Olive Garden doesn't have any vinegar. I made a big joke at the table as to how in the world does an Italian eatery not have vinegar? Never been back.

My wife likes to go to RED LOBSTER for special occasions. I just told her about Moochelle's scheme and the owners agreeing to it.
She says, "Never again! We'll go someplace else." I agree.
The food was never much better than "OK" and the portions are a bit skimpy anyhow. The fare will be worse now and there will be even less of it. So, why should we pay our good money to support a Commie lovin' enterprise willing to dump on it's customers to toady up to some broad-beamed harpy control-freak in the White Hut?
No thanks.

My husband ordered a shrimp with pasta entree. The shrimp were so small that they didn’t require deveining, and they were mushy and tasteless. The pasta was also overcooked. He was disgusted.

Haven't been to a Red Lobster in years, (too pricey for what you get)....last time we ate at Olive Garden I ordered Spaghetti...small portion...have had better spaghetti at the last PTA supper I paid five bucks for. We have already sworn off Olive Garden.
