Thanks for this link... http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/PerryRem
Wow, very uplifting speech! Who says Obama is one of the greatest speakers? Listen to Perry, he’s got his own style that will touch your heart!
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
Stopped reading there...
“Perry and Cain have honesty and humor as part of their core.”
Perry as president, Cain as VP! am praying!
I love Cain. In an ideal world, HE would be the nominee...
Unfortunately, I think he’s too old to be a VP. Cheney wasn’t much younger, but he didn’t run for President after Bush’s term ended...and that, plus his health was part of the reason, and I doubt a 75 year old Cain would either 8 years after being VP.
Our VP choice should be someone young who brings electoral advantages. Rubio as one example...would solidify Florida, and with the Latino appeal could bring states like CO and NM safely to the GOP side. Heck, he could make California competitive if things got really bad.
Cain, OTOH, would be a great Fed chairman. Or a role in the administration. Newt would be a great SoS or Press Secretary.
Thanks...a terrific speech!
If Perry fades, he fades, and we will deal with it at that point. But until then, we are going to enjoy the fact that he is doing well.
No need for the like’s of Bachmann going into a lunacy rant...
It’s instructive (and uncomfortable) to watch someone self-destruct.
It was as if she got on a manic roll and couldn’t stop herself.
I noticed that same “energy” during Palin’s last interview with Greta.
It’s unsettling.
Wow. That was more than I was expecting. Great speech.
That is what is so refreshing about Rick Perry...this is what people are seeing in him. This is why he is so popular.
Others give these speeches and it is all staged and prepared. So all we are seeing is their stage presence. That is more disturbing to me.
The opt-out made sense to me because it ensured the greatest access, widest insurance coverage and still protected parental rights. It's all academic; it was never enacted. It's certainly not a hill worth dying on.
I hope we can break fresh ground in next Thursday's debate rather than waste 20 minutes on gardasil.
Barack H Obama :
Facing growing opposition to his economic proposals and dimming prospects that Congress will pass other parts of his agenda, President Obama told a Hispanic group in Washington Wednesday that when it comes to the issue of immigration, “I’d like to work my way around Congress.”
“As I mentioned when I was at La Raza a few weeks back, I wish I had a magic wand and could make this all happen on my own,” Obama told a meeting of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. “There are times where — until Nancy Pelosi is speaker again — I’d like to work my way around Congress.”
Be very afraid
Governor Nixon of Missouri:
Be very afraid
Rick Perry:
Barry doesn’t want Congress, he knows better and it is very noble.
Perry and Nixon, for noble reasons, of course, bypass their legislatures rather than debate their own personal and political will with the people.
Whether it comes with an R or a D. Tyranny and authoritarian behavior is a sign of character problems and very dangerous to liberty.
