Brother saw it in San Diego, friend saw it in Sierra Madre, another friend saw it in Arizona. All three called it a meteor and didn’t mention anything about zigzags.

That was my first thought, but you'd have to see the video. The meteor was the not the only object in the shot but the meteor only thing zigzagging
