Back in the 70s the receptionist of a small company I was working with brought in a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. I was the office manager and enjoyed an uneventful day as everyone worked diligently and quietly. I thought it a bit unusual as the office was mostly creative people and frequently boisterous.
Near the end of the day the receptionist could keep her secret no longer and told me about the cookies. I was shocked, not so much by her for bringing them in, but by the day had gone so peacefully. I had to ask her not to do that again but almost wished I hadn't had to. Nevertheless, I've never forgotten that lovely day.

Lol, I’ve never had that experience but I read a funny story about a woman who used a ‘dog sitter’ for her dog. She thought her dog was sick because it kept sleeping and was sluggish.
She asked the ‘sitter’ about it and she admitted that she baked “special” treats for the dogs she took care of......!!
