History will never be able to tell us who made the fatal error in New Yorks 9th district Barack Obama, or Anthony Weiner.
Just as Weiner kept on making critical errors every step of the way as his personal scandal unfolded earlier this year, President Obama has done everything in NY-09 to show that he is no friend of Israel and has no clue how to create jobs or learn from his many mistakes.
I predict a tectonic shift among American Jews and within the Democratic Party if Obama doesnt quietly retire. All the spinning in the world cant spin away the trend of Scott Brown, the Tea Party victory of November 2010, and now the Turner earthquake.
Many Democrats are awakening to the reality that their party has been hijacked by a radicalism completely unfamiliar to their parents and grandparents Democratic Party.
An internal, partisan civil war is now brewing in that party. What I think tonight is less important than what Joe Lieberman, Bill Clinton, Evan Bayh, and the rest of the former, and now defunct, reasonable wing of the Democratic Party is thinking tonight.
When Minnesota passed shall-issue, we had a GOP House and a Democrat Senate. The leadership of the Democrat Senate played every underhanded, sneaky, and fundamentally unethical trick in the book, trying to keep the bill from coming to the floor.
Because they knew that when it came to a vote on the floor, there’d be enough pro-gun Democrats to pass it.
And there were.
Never underestimate how strongly the Democrat leadership opposes gun rights, as they oppose every other form of individual freedom and liberty.
But never underestimate the number of Democrats who strongly disagree with their leadership on these issues.
‘Duoc khong voi ong?
Translate, please? My Vietnamese is too stale, and Vietnamese can get lost in translation without those diacritical marks. If Obama loses, then “Xin loi minh oi” gets retired for a second time. It’s replacement will be, “Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, free at last”!’
However, that wasn't because Clinton was reasonable...that was because he was pressed to the wall by the Repubs and his scandals.
People forget...but we had scandal after scandal all throughout the 90's. And there was also real fear present because defense was weak and people knew something big was going to happen. And it did...largely due to the laxity under Clinton.
