Everybody in the world knows that Texas is one of the most conservative places on the planet and that it has been a major producer of jobs during the current depression in the western hemisphere.

Looking at Texas history that's probably a temporary aberration. They'll be back sucking down the federal treasury soon enough.

Remember, LBJ was a real dude ~ not everybody's imagination. And so was Ann Richards!
