Although most of "The Rogue" is dated, petty and easily available to anyone with Internet access, Mr. McGinniss used his time in Alaska to chase caustic, unsubstantiated gossip about the Palins, often from unnamed sources like "one resident" and "a friend."

That’s what I thought. McGuiness spent all that time and money moving into a house next to the Palin’s. And then came up with nothing “new” on her for his efforts. Just unsubstantiated internet gossip that he could have gotten for free, sitting in his Manhattan apartment.
