"Government schools were/ are a Protestant (over)reaction to the Catholic schools that were all publicly funded at one time. They are built on the "Protestant" foundation, are you saying that Protestants are Godless?

I am not sure where you received your education, but here in my State we teach the students that our country is a Democratic Republic. The People elect representatives that are chosen to represent their interests. One of these interests is the education of the youth. As such our schools are funded through Democracy, not socialism. You might want to consider getting a refund on that Doctorate you like to spout off about. This is some thing that is taught to grade school school children.

This is an opinion unsupported by evidence. I and other teachers have every right to express ourselves, that is the reason for tenure.
Ideas are the most powerful things in this world. Flailing against a powerful idea is like yelling at a hurricane hoping it will go away.
Idea: Government schools are evil ( do a Google on that expression), so what does that make those who establish them, implement their policies, promote and defend them?
