Is Wasserman-Schmuck conceeding every even to D+5 district int he country as “difficult”? Does she mean taht every district won by less than 21% is difficult? Please, Lord make it so. We’ll have 350 Republicans in the House in 2013.

I think she recognizes that there are many "nominal" democrats, i.e. they are registered democrats, but they vote otherwise in general elections.

On Bob Turner deserves to be elected by 9th District to replace disgraced Anthony Weiner in Congress

I voted in New York for about 25 years. I really don’t remember too much voter fraud. It might have existed but remember, everyone voted for the Democrats so there was no need, lol! I always voted for the most conservative Democrat in the primary (Ed Koch, Ed Koch, Ed Koch) and then went for the Republican in the general.

When I was an intern, I knew a resident who used the opposite strategy, i.e. voted loony lefty in the primary so that the leftist was so far out that they would be unacceptable in the general election. And I know there are folks who are registered as rats just because they might need a favor from the gubmint or party.

The point of this little polemic is that there maybe more Bob Turners out there than might be appreciated. And don't forget, Turner was outspent by Weprin.

By that do you mean potential GOP candidates who are capable of winning seats heretofore considered hopeless?
