You're right, it does sound pretty phony on a lot of levels. Palin doesn't strike me as the type who has ever been one-night-stand stupidly promiscuous, though you never know ... but it's just my guess based on life experience of people-types. Women who are one-night-stand promiscuous (a very stupid way to conduct oneself) are that way because -- usually temporarily -- they're lost, their priorities are very much topsy-turvy, they're looking in the wrong place for something they need, or (especially with younger gals) they don't understand men. Palin may or may not have been wild enough to do a few drugs with pals a few times in her college days, that wouldn't surprise me, but ... not a one-night stand, especially if she was going with her high school sweetheart, Todd. Just seems far-fetched for that personality type, from what I can glean of it seeing how she's conducted her life over the decades since.
But the truth is ... we can never know, and in fact, it's none of our business. And it wouldn't be any of our business even if it was Hillary Clinton, Condoleeza Rice, or Margaret Thatcher we were talking about here. A young college co-ed is on a steep learning curve.

Couldn’t agree with you more about Sarah and one night stands. She doesn’t seem like the type. And even if it’s true, I couldn’t care less.
