Ive not said a word about God's plan for welfare and personal responsibility. So, you don't know diddly squat about my convictions.
I think that you just like to run your mouth.

Carry, CalCowGirl, we have had one set of adoring fans on the forum that nearly drove most of us crazy. Now we have another person, whose adoring fans are doing the same thing.
One thing they share in common. They dismiss any substantive negative issue mentioned from their candidate’s history.
I have been supporting Michelle Bachmann with the proviso, that if she did something wrong or someone else better came along, I would support someone else. Frankly, I haven’t found her actions over the last week to be conducive to keeping my support. The verdict is still out on that, but I need to see an improvement.
These people don’t do that. They are dead set locked into their candidate, and no warning signs are going to get in their way, period.
I keep getting these responses that claim Reagan was severely flawed too. That’s the new Conservative mantra of the 2012 campaign.
“Support Perry, even Reagan was severely flawed.”
Good luck with educating anyone on this forum that is involved with the two camps that can’t fly straight.

Oh, please.
Name one denomination that endorses communitarianism. Maybe the Roman Catholics? Forgive me RCs if I am incorrect.
The Bible teaches property rights and charity. There is no communism, not in any forced sense.

I feel the same way about Bachmann and am warming to Cain.
Frankly, I'm not as interested in any of them as I was with Hunter.

The RC has a number of "Liberation Theology" types, especially in Central America.

Absolutely correct, starting with Genesis 1:28 with the Hebrew word u'redu (IIRC, ורדו), translated as "establish dominion" but actually more related to establishing property lines by walking on the grass, with the requirement to accept the struggle (v'khivshuha) to maintain responsibility for what is within those bounds: every bird, fish, and herding animal. Yup.

Not a very charitable response for someone lecturing another Freeper about how bitter they were.

Ok, the liberal denominations.
The liberal of everything supports redistribution of wealth. Name a group (Pacific Islanders, bankers, college professors, car salesmen, Kiwanis, Jews,) and the liberal among them will be Marxist in theory.
So I wouldn’t blame the church any more than any other group.
A push toward biblical economics would be a push for personal responsibility, property rights, and charity.
Not towards communitariasm.
The problem with the liberal “church” is that they disregard Scripture wherever it doesn’t fit into their narrative.
