Nine anecdotes about deaths aren't the least bit probative.

Those were just the deaths. Did you read any of the more than three dozen "anecdotes" about debilitating injury? Did you read any of the replies from parents concerning other afflicted children? Did you Google to see how many sites like this one exist on the Internet today espousing the same issue?

Did you know the MedAlerts website has received more than 21,000 reports of adverse reactions to the Gardasil vaccine (click)?

What's your number? How many people do you need to see suffer before you consider the drug might have -- as Bachmann stated -- "very dangerous consequences"?

After doing the homework, you might find it more "probative" than you did initially. Bachmann's misstep was in her presentation, not her sentiment. Santorum provided a very similar argument and no one is admonishing him. The only reason Bachmann is in the spotlight is that she made an emotional plea (and, I believe, a more feared contender to the establishment GOP than Santorum).
