You would think he’d be getting more votes from the Dems who just can’t bring themselves to vote Republican. It’s encouraging to see so few. It’s an indication that voters actually like Turner and aren’t just sending a message to the Dem machine.
The numbers in Queens seem to be holding up. Looks like this one is over.

According to AP the Commie has 29 votes.
That about covers his extended family.

Brooklyn is loaded with Hasidim who view social issues very conservatively. I mean real conservatively.
To: Col Frank Slade
I would expect the Democrats to be d___ing around with the ballots in this race.
After all, this was Weiner’s district, ;-)

To: Col Frank Slade
They’ll need to be removing them by the truckload by the time this is over. It isn’t even going to be anywhere near close. More than 10 points.

” I’d have guessed the opposite (that Jewish voters in Brooklyn would be more prone to voting for the Dem), “
Generally, the Jews in the Brooklyn portion are Orthodox, the Jews in Queens (Forest Hills) are secular.

The Hassidum are in Brooklyn very conservative.

Well, when the rural precincts come in, I bet most of them go for Turner.

Looks like I spoke too soon...BIG jump in queens. Maybe they pulled out a truckload of ballots after all.
Turner’s still way ahead though. Weiner carried Queens 65/35.

While I want Turner to just win no matter where the votes come from, it will be extra special if he also wins Queens since that is where I’m from.
