Except it is not just a possible win. Now that Perry has been considerably damaged, it is a highly probable Romney win.
Perry has not been significantly damaged and while it is still early it would still seem the nomination is Perry’s to lose. The vaccine and the highway non-issues are just noise. What is more important is how Perry handles social security going forward. Perry is on the right side of the issue. He can prevail IF he explains it adequately in terms of how he will fix it.
