What a jack wagon. Yeah, we all want the border locked down, but it came across so contrived that it made him look sillier than usual.

That was basically my initial response too.
Today I read that Huntsman was ribbing Perry for his statements of treason aimed at Fed chair, Ben Bernake.
Either way, Huntsman came across sappy.

I think it was supposed to be a joke, playing off Perry's Bernake remark, but it was as lame as his Curt Cobain reference. Apperently one of his handlers thought it would make him sound hip and current to reference a heroin addict who committed suicide 17 years ago.
