Rush and Levin like Perry but they too are having trouble with his being just totally wrong on the illegal alien invasion issue. Especially his giving illegal (what part of "illegal" does the Gov fail to understand?) aliens privileges supposedly reserved for Texans.
Rush advises Perry to correct this serious problem that could scuttle his chances now because if he back-tracks later it would make him seem an insincere opportunist.

You guys make good points. We don’t need another Texas waffler on illegal immigration in the form of a Bush-lite. That Comprehensive Immigration (a/k/a amnesty) bill eroded the conservative base and helped give us Obama.
