In my humble opinion, the only thing these debates accomplish is to give the opposition ammunition for the general election. Don’t these candidates realize this?

Since the election is more than a year away, these debates provide the RATs with a heaven-sent opportunity to, as St. Saul sez, "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it, and destroy it".
By September of 2012, America's soon-to-be voters will be sick of these clowns, AND will have had a waterfall of propaganda, for MORE THAN A YEAR, pouring down on their heads.
This is beyond moronic.
The candidate should be introduced in late August. August, 2012, that is. No campaigning before then. No pledged delegates.
This farce gives the enemedia way too much prep time, and gains us nothing.
