This is my take, for what it is worth.
What I see after her mouth passes the silver frame is “what they do for their (or that) flag.” [Notice the number of times her tongue touches her upper teeth.] I can’t tell what proceeded these words, but it is a short utterance because it is spoken after her mouth is behind the silver frame and has been uttered by the time her mouth emerges from the silver frame. Words like “unbelievable” or “It’s somethin’” or “amazing” would fit the time frame. I’m guessing either:
It’s something what they do for their flag.
or
Unbelievable what they do for their flag.
or
Amazing what they do for their flag.
I don’t really think “I can’t believe” would fit, time wise, in the phrase.
Eye movement around the outside corners of the eye is key, and it is hard not to think there is some lack of emotional connection, but Michelle’s face has such strong anger lines, it’s hard to see past them. He seems more telling in his eye movement, and there does seem to be a hint at some type of “isn’t that pitiful” thought.
That’s my take, as lacking in value as it is. LOL!

Looked to me like the first wookie said “all of this for a f’king flag”. Those two pieces of $hit have nothing but contempt for this country.
When Michelle’s face comes into full view I read her lips as saying; “...fold the flag.” So I take this as her making a comment on the manner in which the flag is being folded. Is her remark to Obama one of disdain? Her gesture afterward - shaking her head - would suggest that, sure. But she could also have been moved by the ceremony, commented on it to Obama, and then shook her head in awe. Obama’s gesture doesn’t tell me much about what she could have said. Since he seems to always have that lordly, Moussolini-type posture to him when he attends these ceremonies. We know deep down it’s always about him, so he could give a rat’s a$$ about reverence for the flag, honor for those who have died in it’s defence, or his wife’s feelings about any of it. To him it’s simply the awesomeness of his presence as Commander-in-Chief over it all.
Has anyone heard if any of the conservative talk show hosts brought this matter up? I’m curious, because, unless I missed it, it wasn’t discussed...?
