Sure you are. Why didn’t he wait until the legislature was in session? What was the rush? Why was there an opt-out when a voluntary opt-in would’ve sufficed?

First rule of defense—deny access. Second rule—always provide overwatch. He’s willing to do #2, but not #1. They work together; individually they’re easily defeated.

Texas legislature is only in session every other year maybe that had something to do with his timing. I explained to you that the “mandate” had to be in the wording to get the state to pay for it. He has explained he was more worried about the low income girls than the high income because if their parents had to pay they would not have gotten the protection. I think your mind is made up and I sure don’t have the energy to change it. I promise to cast my vote for the winner of the Republican primary I earnestly ask you to do the same.
