As the pipeline would pass through the neighborhood, so to speak, feeder lines for Bakken Crude as well would provide additional options for transporting crude in an area where the infrastructure for oil transport has been overwhelmed by new production.
Currently, oil is being shipped by rail and trucked as well as being pipelined from the oil fields of North Dakota, and additional transport capability would be welcome for producers here as well.
In July, North Dakota was producing over 400,000 BOPD from over 5700 producing wells link, and there are over 190 rigs drilling.
Thanks for the info & link. It’s nice to hear some Americans are doing well!
