we will have to agree to disagree...mandates about sexual transmission of a particular cancer to a 12 year old that is not having sex, is the government going too far again. My daughter never was vaccinated against small pox. When I took her in she was running a low grade fever and the pediatrician said no he would not give it....he went farther and said unless she leaves the country, she would never need to have the vaccination as the possible side effects were greater than the chance of getting small pox because the US had not had a case of small pox in a couple of decades....with all the illegal immigrants and legal ones from the 3rd world I don't know what the status is now...Immigrants were usually examined before they were allow out of Ellis island. Those that had diseases were turned back....that rule made too much sense for some politicians and it is no longer mandatory... She is over 40 and has never had a small pox vaccine..

I have a coworker who's 21 year old daughter was just diagnosed with cervical cancer. It's absolutely devastated her and her family.
