So you favor breathing apparatus and lifevests for bathtubs and swimmers? These will save lives by preventing drownings.
Cervical cancer deaths about 4000 per year in America, drowning deaths around 3500 per year.
Should we mandate floaties and scuba tanks with working regulators for all swimmers? If not why not.
Yes, I favor lifevests for people going into the water, especially if they are going boating. I woulnd’t “mandate” it, but I certainly favor it. On the other hand, the BSA mandates it, and I don’t think they are dictatorial, they just really care about keeping the kids safe, and don’t see the point of taking needless risks.
A breathing apparatus would be essentially useless in a bathtub; you’d as likely mess up and kill yourself with it as drown in the tub.
If you could take a shot that would prevent you from drowning for the rest of your life, you can bet I’d take it, and give it to my kids.
There’s no real comparison between a vaccine and an “apparatus”
And anyway, my entire point which you quoted was that it was silly to pretend that the vaccine didn’t save lives. That has nothing to do with what you “favor”. Someone claimed the vaccine was worthless. It isn’t.
