the state taxpayers who voted for the representatives who decided to let children of illegals have in-state tuition?
I oppose giving children of illegals in-state tuition; I’m glad my state doesn’t. I could see writing a strict rule that might allow it, if the kids had been here forever, and were clearly integrated into our society. But generally no. But if Texas citizens, living in a border state, think the best thing for their state is to use their tax dollars to give in-state tuition to those children, that’s why it’s great that we have states who can each try their own thing.
Where was it ever shown the majority of Texans support in-state tuition for illegals? Link please. I've only seen the Texas legislature challenging it.
And BTW, do you automatically 'go with the flow' of what the majority says? A majority of US citizens elected Obama, you know. San Francisco banned happy meals.
It is the same if the New England states and Kalifornicate want to let sodomites marry. It is a state’s rights issue.
