Two days before the special election in New Yorks 9th Congressional District, yet another poll confirms that Bob Turner, the Republican, holds an improbable lead in the heavily Democratic district.
A Public Policy Polling poll released Sunday night found Turner leading his Democratic opponent, David Weprin, by a 4741 margin. A Siena poll released last week found Turner leading by the same split, 50 to 44 percent.
Weprin and Turner are competing to fill the House seat vacated by former Congressman Anthony Weiner.
Still having fun fondling the Weiner headlines!
hahaha
This is a pretty limp thread if you ask me.
How are the dems going to pull it out with Weprin`s poll support so flaccid? They were going into this just a tad cocky.
Only dem unionista workers at the polling places?
Loads of dead and ficticious voters.
It will be very interesting to see if Mr. Turner wins if he immediately starts moving to the left a la Scott Brown.
If conservatives in the red states can’t do their job (McCain in Arizona, Lindsay Graham in SC, Huntsman in Utah) then how can you expect NY democrats to be any better?
Leaving that joke / Jokers aside, I fear that Turner's winning margin has to be large, otherwise the embedded Democrat electoral machine will spit, chew and deprecate enough to the usual disputed election Democrat win.
