Well, all you need to do is find out who is interested in the news concerning the EDL & puts their names on your profile page under the heading EDL Ping list.
Whenever news regarding the EDL is posted, you would ping everyone on the said list. Or anyone else posting said news could do the same by going to your profile page and C&Ping the names.
