My gosh she is a fashion disaster and at somepoint you have to wonder if it isn't part of their "Fundemental transformation" of America. Nothing these two do IMHO isn't without intent...
I also believe, though, that she basically lacks any fashion sense, was never taught how to dress (if you don't believe that, look at pictures of her mother!) and she also has plenty of people telling her how beautiful she is, no matter what she wears.
In one sense, "the Empress has no (suitable, appropriate, classy) clothes."
I think that the same people who fawn over her, her looks, and how she dresses, would be figuratively ripping her to shreds if she were Mrs. Herman Cain or Mrs. Alan West and dressed exactly the same way. (My apologies to those ladies for implying that they would ever consider dressing like Mrs. Obama, simply making a point).
