Since the writ of the US Constitution seems not to extend to the State of California, I guess those who reside there do not have the Second Amendment to protect themselves against thieves, skallywags and politicians. I would caution those who live in the other 49 states to not visit, trade with or move to California as other common natural rights and civil behaviors may not be afforded to you by California should you ignore my caution.
49? Do you think we have any sort of "right to carry" here in Illinois. It is a class A felony here to think about guns.
