“I wonder if Holder will claim that he did not mention it because it was a National Security matter?”

That would be okay, provided he briefed the Senate intelligence oversight committee. As a matter of fact, providing Eric did that, he’d probably be covered on the whole Fast and Furious debacle. But my guess is any briefing had so many misleading fictional elements that he’s exposed. The best he can hope for is for Obama to pardon him. As a matter of fact, if Holder were to take the blame for the entire thing now, Obama could pardon him and they’d both walk free. Holder would get the traditional multi-million dollar (bribe) book deal.

If he briefed both intelligent committees, then I would think we would not have this breaking report of a third gun. I'm guessing it was not mentioned, perhaps because he was never asked. Is Holder required to volunteer info that not directly asked about? You would think there should be no info held back, but I am sure it happens all the time? Now if told them the committees there were only 2 guns and yet he knew at the time there were 3 guns (and maybe more for all we know), then that becomes a problem for him.
