And they would have killed me and a whole lot of my friends, who never did anything to harm you or yours. There ARE true public servants in DC, few and far between, maybe, but they exist. They (we, on 9/11/01) are human beings who did not, do not, deserve to die horrible deaths at the hands of terrorists.

The US Constitution and the freedoms it protects give you the ability, the responsibility, to replace your representatives if they do not meet your standards. You do yourself a grievous dishonor if you wish death on your own countrymen.

I can see part of his point. If it had been hundreds of congressmen and Senators that were killed that day do you think that would not have changed the way things were done in congress? Would they be so sanguine about immigration and PC about their duty to this country? I think the changes would have been immediate and long lasting, right now they only pay lip service to our Dead. If some of them had died we would be having a National Month of prayer and reflection.
