You are more than welcome.
I am not aware of the Bushes’ plans for tomorrow.
I learned about this by signing up on GWB’s facebook page.
No other notices have come across.
Yes they were. Tomorrow the usurper will get a small applause or his supporters will be especially bused in
I’ll see if it’s on locally. I purged PBS from my viewing list because of all the leftist stuff they’re showing, as recently as yesterday.
Btw, more importantly:), my mother and her people were from Nebraska. The Cornhusker state has a special place in my heart; also have many cousins still living there.
I agree.
“Tomorrow will be all about obama.”
Yes...he will fit in some campaigning in the speech. He’ll mention how there hasn’t been another terror act since he became president. Perhaps that “he” got Bid Laden...as he so often says.
I have a very difficult time watching him. Honestly, I think I watched only one of his speeches since he became President. I tense up.
OOPS...
“Bin Laden”
thank you for the thread.. and thanks to all for the comments, links, thoughts that you shared.
Just posted on facebook, by one of my flight attendant friends, along with photos...
(A bus is carrying flight attendants to Shanksville for tomorrow’s memorial)...
“I will be documenting the UAL EWR Flight Attendant Flt. 93 Trip. We ran into the Harley Ride for 93 at a PA TPK rest stop. Riders had to raise $1,000 each to participate in ride.”
That’s great. Can you ping me?
Sure...just found this too...

Dolly, my darling Dolly, so good to see you and know we are sharing this across the miles.
yes. we are. I can’t recall.. are you on Facebook? lots of good things there.. will FRMail you my FB screen name & link. Lots of people you know and love are there. truly
smooch!
I can’t stand PBS either...my lib mother-in-law alerted me to the show.
Nebraska IS a great state...the more that goes on throughout the country the happier I am (and the safer I feel) living in fly-over country. Where do your cousins live? We’re in rural eastern NE. I love living where my husband cuts hay and makes round-bales in my front yard! (Although the pollen and junk in the air is making me miserable right now!)
I hope some of your memories of Nebraska include the most beautiful sunrises in the world! They have been fantastic lately.
When some pictures come out showing him at today's memorial, we can confirm. If I'm wrong, oh well.
Thanks for this thread. It was such a moving memorial today. President Bush gave such a heartfelt speech. It was wonderful to see him and Laura. The response by the audience to his very eloquent speech really warmed my heart.
Even Pres. Clinton and Biden gave very good speeches. Could it be? they finally get what a superb job GWB did following the events of 9/11?
It’s great to “see” you all again commenting on such a solemn occasion.
I’m sure there will be some great pictures posted on the Day in the Life thread - that still goes on, by the way.
The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
Our voices need to be heard not only at Town Hall sessions or Tea Party demonstrations but in the very halls of Congress. We have to speak out to stop the desecration of September 11th.
NEVER FORGET
"Every 'moderate' Muslim is a potential terrorist. The belief in Islam is like a tank of gasoline. It looks innocuous, until it meets the fire. For a 'moderate' Muslim to become a murderous jihadist, all it takes is a spark of faith.
It is time to put an end to the charade of moderate Islam. There is no such thing as moderate Muslim. Muslims are either jihadists or dormant jihadists moderate, they are not."

Watch this moving video. It is the most viewed of any of the 9/11 videos and is now in the Smithsonian.
Be sure to read (at the site) Anatomy Of The Attack and the moving essay,That Day by Steve Golding, a New Yorker who lived through it.
I gave and give GWB legitimate, deserved respect and admiration---even while recognizing his many domestic mistakes and their ramifications.
No need to take offense.
It's unnecessary. It may keep the BDS creeps and name-callers off your back, but there's no need to say it since there's not a single person on earth who thinks the man was 'perfect.'
On this thread, in regard to this speech from President Bush, and in the perspective of what he did to protect us from terror, there is absolutely, absolutely no need to add the disclaimer that you think he spent too much money. It seems kind of silly to a lot of people that so many of you do that.
I'm just telling you it's not necessary to cover yourself, and you don't need to do it again.
Let it go. Please.
