The msm has quoted Obama several times on his interest in Lincoln..how he’s reading Lincoln’s papers and Doris Kearns Goodwin’s Lincoln biography. So, I bet Obama considers himself a Lincoln expert and threw the “founded the Republican Party” in on the spur of the moment, perhaps as a snarky response to the Repubs chuckling at his absurdities. The PBS version imo was the speech on telepromptor without the “direction notes” like [expect applause here] or [raise fist and shout] before every “Pass the bill now!”, and without adlibs like his Lincoln error. Bottom line, not PBS’s fault.
Per the actual article at the link, the New York Times transcript had the reference in it. If what you say is correct, why?
Pretty much crap. Crap history. Crap writing. It's as if she confused Lincoln with Nancy Drew. How does this Loonie Left Bimbo get away with it?
