Unless it’s a dangerous situation, the owner should be given a chance to secure the dog out of harm’s way and interference.

That should be the procedure.

Well, it’s not like she was on her way to her home and would’ve had a chance to do so...oh, wait...never mind.

B&E, criminal trespass, destruction of property.

That’s illegal, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, even in situations in which the owner does contain the dog (the dog is kept in a bathroom or bedroom inside the house), dogs have been shot by Agents of the State.

“To protect (our pensions) and to serve (the interests of The State)”.
