But SHE SAID THOSE WORDS. It may have been canned BS fed to her by some campaign lackey, but when they came out of her mouth SHE OWNED THEM!!!
So was she being dishonest, or was she really in favor of the TARP bailout?
I believe she was really in favor of the TARP bailouts.
But a lot of her current supporters think she was lying.
I don't get it.
John Kerry almost made it to the Whitehouse flip flopping on a daily basis so I'm not too worried about it. That being said who knows what her true position on the subject was.
It’s called subordinating your own views to the positions of the campaign, every bit as much as a lawyer tries to massage facts to fit his arguments. Should she have resigned from Juan’s campaign, just b/c some of his positions were goofy? Life isn’t perfect, but one can do much more good from the inside.
In Going Rogue, she frankly states that many of the things that the McCain “experts” wanted her to say, esp. in the debates, were “non-answers”. C’est la vie. I’m not going to hate her or disrespect her for it. Focus on what she says now, and what she DID as governor of Ak. when she acted *for herself*. Bob
“But SHE SAID THOSE WORDS. It may have been canned BS fed to her by some campaign lackey, but when they came out of her mouth SHE OWNED THEM!!!....”
Another good point.....As a Palin supporter I have to agree that hurts.....McCain was a thorn in her side.....Brought her to National prominence very quickly, but the association is a negative.....I believe that will all be forgotten (except for the diehards like yourself) as she continues with her own message this time.....I have no doubt Palin if elected will stay on message and clean up like she did in Alaska......
