“Hoping” has nothing to do with it. I’ll tell you what, go into a corner and “hope” really hard. See how much it helps the Jews and the Copts. Anyone with even a modest acquaintance with Egypt and N. Africa knows that the likely outcome of destabilization is to bring groups like the Muslim Brotherhood into power and empower Islamicists.
Rather than “hope”, I would suggest opposing these policies that have given Gaza and the West Bank to Fatah and Hamas and that now appear to be handing Egypt and N. Africa to one or more similar groups.
I guess there is no right and no wrong. No Iron curtain to come down in the middle east and to help us as Christians bring the gospel to these people? Separation of church and state?
