All of this union nonsense in recent weeks (longshoreman strike, Hoffa's tirade, this tirade, etc.) seems to be the last gasps of the Communist unions and their control over our political system, down from their heyday when they controlled the Democrat Party, and therefore Congress, back in the 1960s-early 1990s.
How DARE they use what should be a DAY of REMEMBERENCE for POLITICAL PURPOSES!?
I will observe this holiday by studiously avoiding anything bearing the union label.

9-11 was an act of war, not some feel-good day of activism. Trumka is an evil individual.
No mention of the targets of the 9-11 attacks; the financial industry and military (both non-union). No mention of the Air Force pilots who were ordered that day to shoot down unresponsive commercial aircraft. They luckily didn’t have to due to the warriors on Flight 93. No mention of the continued sacrifice by the men and women of all services taking the battle to the enemy this day.
I hope Drudge picks this up and the Republicans use it next November. The Unions can threaten to kill us all they want (our response will be different than those security guards) but don’t dishonor or distort 9-11.
