Rush was saying yesterday that Michelle Bachmann wants to get gas below two dollars. Other Republicans, and boss tweed Obama, can’t grasp the concept of how spectacular that one thing would be for our economy.
The truth is that the economy could be boosted with virtually no outlay of government money, an example being expanding domestic sources and production of petroleum, thereby reducing cost of gas and diesel at the pump, providing a tremendous shot in the arm for business and the public. But not deserving of a mention by the anointed one. And that’s just one example. Of course critics would say the results of this would not be felt fast enough. That’s because this action should have been taken long ago, but better late than never.
