How can you say such a thing?!? Not a SINGLE Republican voted for the Stimulus. NOT ONE. See HERE.

How can we encourage the GOP to show some spine when we don't even give them credit when they do?

Yep. It’s why the TEA party needs to do to the Republican party what the Republican party did to the Whigs. The Dems and Pubs are redundant. One needs to go. And the new party is coming out of the one that at least “Claims” to be conservative.

I’m thinking of that scene in the first “Alien” movie. And the host, of course, dies.
