I’m glad you only quoted one sentence, because I don’t feel much like reading the rest of it.

From Wikipedia:

He graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1977, where he wrote for and later edited The Dartmouth.

He is also a Pulitzer Prize winner.

Does anyone imagine that a real conservative would possibly win a Pulitzer Prize? The WSJ editorial page is generally conservative, unless some issue arises that might undermine business as usual.

In other words, yet another “conservative pundit.”

Yes.

Paul Gigot is a journalist and an excellent and insightful conservative opinion-maker. He has a show on Fox on saturday.

His article is more what-might-have-been than a hit-piece. Apparently, anyone who dare mentions that some folks are getting tired of Palin’s non-decision has be be drummed out of the conservative movement.

The late, great, Bob Bartley, Editor of the WSJ and the Editorial Page won a Pulitzer Prize for Opinion Writing. He was one of the great Conservative thinkers of the 20th century.
