This makes me happy that I own a 1950s ranch house that’s built like a tank. Where I live McMansions are everywhere and after only six or seven years some of them are falling apart.

Besides, homebuilders,
"the probe include the hotel and restaurant industries." These industries are the chief employers of illegal aliens. So while the Obama regime destroys Main Street working Americans, it once again takes care of another leftwing support group - in addition to unions. No further proof of this is needed but who Obama has running the DOL and what is her mission:

The builder, Pulte,hires the sub contractor who in turn hires his workers to do the job. Pulte’s responsibility is to see that the sub is legal and the subs responsibility is to hire legally documented workers.
Trust me when I tell you there are as many problems with so called “custom” home builders as there is with the corporate home builders.

Construction workers are unemployed.
Unemployment makes Obama look bad.
Thou Shalt NOT make Obama look bad.
