Tons of rain. The river will crest just below 41’. That is what the levee can hold. I believe it will crest about that and they do not want to panic people. They changed the evacuation time from 8pm to 4pm. The river is now at 35’ and rising rapidly.

Wilkes-Barre had lots of damage during Agnes, so I just hope that they did a good job with the dikes. After Agnes was there, my parents took my brothers and sister to see it. My mom told us about the square (where Pomeroy’s is (or was) located), because she worked there.
