Sodomites will lie about virtually anything when it suits their purposes. They will certainly lie about this, and people will develop serious illnesses or die as a result.
Of course, anyone who would lie about whether they've had sex in the past year would almost certainly also lie about whether they are homosexual (so they could give blood, with or without this change in policy).
