Any sympathy for the poor guy that she and her boyfriend tried to frame? Why try to frame an innocent man if you aren’t guilty? And I agree that it isn’t relevant that she has the morals of an alley cat.

Supposedly, Knox was interrogated by the Perugian police and investigators for many, many hours without a lawyer. This illegal interrogation was thrown out in the criminal trial, but because the civil trials are held simultaneously with the criminal (How screwed up is that?)the jury heard it any way. They alternated 12 different interrogators starting at 11pm to try to break her over many hours. She was exhausted. They suggested to her scenarios that could have been possible such as: “Isn’t it possible that Patrick Lumumba (her former boss) could have killed Meredith while you were in the bathroom?” Again, supposedly, she was so beaten down that at that point she would have agreed to anything to make them stop. The police were interested in Lumumba because Knox had responded to his text message telling her not to come to work that night by texting back to him something to the effect of “See you later. Have a good night.” They thought this meant she would meet him later, not that she was saying good bye to him. There are a lot of screwed up things in this case that were mischaracterized by the prosecution and press.
