That's the definition of an anchor baby.
Imagine you, slithering into this thread.
Slithering? Wow, Buck. Why so hateful?
You’ve earned your reputation.
I've read all the birther talking points. Nobody's buying any of it.
Really, you have documentation on when his parents became naturalized citizen, that prove they were in fact citizens before his birth?
Didn't think so, so who is really spreading the cr@p here?
In obiter dictum, the Court referenced the natural-born-citizen clause of the U.S. Constitution, stating, "The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first.
I’d love to see him in that office someday. He’s a gem. Hands down winner.
Who is this “nobody?” Little people living in your pocket?
Fortunately for Rubio, his Florida birth certificate will be the only document he needs to get on the top ticket. Nobody except for a handful of birthers, stomping their feet in indignation, will give a hoot about the citizenship of his parents.
so who is really spreading the cr@p here?
Birthers, as usual.
Why does Marco Rubio need to be president? What has he done? Oh wait ... he is “Hispanic,” so that is why he needs to be president.
People who believe in and have read the Constitution.
You'd let any anchor baby become president.
For those of us who have heard his platform, what he believes, what he wants to do for this country...he’s a good man, a conservative man, and a man that can reach America’s ever-growing Hispanic population. They are our voters to lose. Rubio can bring them over the right side where we all benefit.
Yep, right. America and conservatism were built on pandering to minorities.
Apparently not to the guy facing the camera.
Take it up with him.
How is he eligible?
Buck, we know you have problems with honest education, but really? You’re opposed to informing minorities about conservatism, too? I really think you’re in the wrong party.
Then Obama is a NBC?
Not any anchor baby. Just outstanding conservative ones.
You think an anchor baby can't become president? Let's elect one and find out. You might be surprised.
