The way to fix illegal immigration is to ban anyone who comes into our country illegally from ever becoming a citizen of the U.S. and therefore banned from ever voting.
You break into the U.S., you never get to be a citizen. Then the open borders amnesty-supporting Democrats will stop supporting illegal immigration.
