Take it to the bank, Rubio will be on the Perry ticket (as long as they get the whole N.B.C. thing settled out). That would be an electoral landslide. FL, OH, IA, and NM go red.

Now if Rubio is ineligible, I think the next logical choice is to go after a “reformer” with a record of creating jobs. I think Scott Walker would be a very interesting pick. Haley of SC would be an interesting pick too, but they might try to throw the comparisons back to Palin on her. In anycase, I think the running mate should be a Gov versus a Senator/Congressman.
