Perry has had a couple of very good answers, but at times seemed to struggle for words. On balance no better than 4th, behind Newt, Bachman and Romney. He may be hurt by the high expectations that had been set for him.

I think Perry just needed to “not lose.” He’s still standing and didn’t back down. He has a lot of work to do to prepare for what’s coming in his direction in the near future.

He will get better with time. I do not underestimate Perry’s skills or capabilities for a moment, but I know Palin, with the help of our LORD, can and will take him down. :)
