“Is it my imagination - Herman Cain not getting equal time?”
no, you’re right - he’s not. neither is rick santorum.
They want to see a brawl between Romney and Perry. Paul for comic value, and Huntsman because they adore him as BHO’s boy.
Those are the ones getting preferential time.

Rick Perry, Newt and Cain to me are the only REAL suits in this debate. I have to agree. Perry just called Obama a liar about the border - here we go. Perry not afraid to use blunt terms. We will see how this works. personally I find it refreshing but only if he follows through. So far it looks like Perry doesn't back down.
To: lwd
Is this turning into a PERRY PINATA PARTY or what?
Yes. But so far it is like that car ad where both the kid and his dad sweat themselves silly but that pinata won't break. Perry is doing quite well considering the onslaught.

IMHO, almost all of Fox wants Romney. All of Fox despises Palin. Fox women are catty about both Bachmann and Palin.
I've met many women that absolutely hate Palin.
And a lot of those women have the hots for romney.

It is not accidental that Americans do not know about the successful Chilean retirement system. They privatized it about 3 decades ago, and people were able to retire very comfortably.

Sure he did do some explaining but he could have done much better. So he will have to do better than what I just heard to prevail on a social security argument in a general election. Agree 100%.
The media is desperate to paint him as someone to be feared. His approach to this topic plays into their hands.
We FReepers were OK with what he said because we understand it. Most Seniors out there do not.
If he is going to say something this politically charged, he has to explain himself MUCH better than he did this evening.

Romney is right about the fence. A major separation from Perry. Romney is going to appeal to some folks on these questions.

Actually, that is only part of it.
HPV is a HUGE problem among illegal immigrants. Perry passed the Texas DREAM Act... and didn't do anything to stop illegals from entering the country.
The HPV mandate was to combat the problem that Perry ignores.
